Last week saw the release of the eagerly awaited Digital Britain report from Lord Carter, all 245 pages of it! 

The report aims to make the UK one of the leading players in the Digital economy.

- Plans to rollout broadband for every household in Britain over the next 3 years
- Upgrade plans for digital radio services from FM & AM
- Clampdown on digital piracy
- New allocations proposed for the TV licensing fee and future of Channel 4

Overall the report has brought a mixed response from the industry, but with more now realising the importance of Digital as a critical part of the mix, we can be sure of exciting times ahead!
